My Max has something...

he's been caughing (like as if he is choking on something) for the past few days, and he's got a light lesion (kind of loss of hair) in the corner of his eyes. He has very sensitive skin and we feed him the prescription food from the vet (bc he used to get very bad skin allergies, i.e. bumps on his skin) but lately he again developed the bumps and following that he began caughing...he seems ok, he is eating, playing and his adorable self, but I just sense that he is not well...

It could also be that I changed his shampoo lately (I got the Stop the Itch from Drs. Foster and Smith)...I have to see how he feels...

I wonder what could it be and I really don't want to take him to the vet bc they're a rip-off and all they do is put him on antibiotics which I don't like. I bought this opthalmic anitbiotic (for his eyes) which helped him last time...I just feel so bad for him bc he is always suffering from these dang allergies

I would guess that it's the new shampoo. I would go back to what you were using, but wait a bit.
We switched Misty's shampoo once and she got little cysts all over her body and lost patches of hair where the cysts were. Now, I only use gentle oatmeal shampoo from Petco.
