My Mets Mobile doesn't fit on the crib
My niece bought me the Mets mobile for my shower and it is so cute it plays "Take me Out to the Ballgame" but it doesn't fit onto the crib. I have the Munire Essex crib and the slats are too thick. Are all mobiles generally the same size? I really love it but don't want to mount it to the wall.

 I feel your pain. We decided against that mobile when no one bought it for the shower. I'm not sure if every mobile is the same. You'd think they are.

Is there any other way to attach it? Even if it isnt the prettiest? I know my DH is the master of "fashioning" things to make them work.

Can your DH come over? 
I am going to mess around with it again now. Worse case we nail it to the wall.

DH had to rig our mobile too b/c our crib slots were so thick...he somehow got it on.

we had to return ours (not mets) for tht reason. we hve sleigh crib with thick bars. I "heard" that bbb sells extenders...maybe you can call them???

I have definitely seen/heard about that problem before. A lot of the sleigh-type cribs can't support mobiles since the sides are so thick.
