My MIL is going to drive me to drink
Let me preface this by saying that I love my IL's - they have always treated me like one of their own (I am not so sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing ) but lately my MIL is getting under my skin
We went out to eat on Saturday with a group of people. MIL was all the way at the other end of the table but all throughout dinner, she kept being a "back seat driver"....things like "does Mikayla have a bib on?, are you feeding her? why is she crying, what are you doing to my baby?"
AHHHH, I wanted to run over and smash her face into her plate of pasta (shhh, Kate, don't tell Kelliane)
Thanks for letting me vent

That is so annoying. I think I would have asked her if she wanted to switch seats so she could take care of her instead?!??! But, it sounds like she may have said ok!

Re: My MIL is going to drive me to drink
my mom actually does that to me and it drives me INSANE. she is especially backseat driver-ish when it comes to things like CIO ("are you SURE you don't want me to go pick him up?"... like every 10 seconds).
if you're able to let it go i would do that... but if it persists and it's really bothering you, i would address it in a gentle but firm way (which is what i did with my mom!).
