My mom forgot my b-day!
In 32 years I have always heard from my mom on my b-day. I know I am PMSing, so it's totally magnified, but still! How do you not call your daughter on her b-day. So when I first realized, I laughed and instantly called my sis (she would call and remind her) but as the phone went to VM, I noticed the time. My mom goes to bed uber early, like 7:30! And I started bawling because I know she i in bed and asleep. So now I won't hear from her.
I know it's silly, I have played down my b-day all week, but this just made me so sad  Sorry, just needed to vent

I'm sorry, it's the worst feeling. My father manages to forget my brithday every friggin year. You'd think I'd get over it but it always upsets me.

My Mom forgot my birthday too. But she forgets a lot of things at her age. I chose not to mention it to her - she would have felt worse. It does stink though.
