My night last night - first night of crying it out...
It was hard - but it wasn't THAT bad...
I put her down at 8 I went in at 8:15...rubbed her belly, told her I loved her and gave her a kiss...did the same at 8:35 - by 9 she was sleeping!!! (and she really didn't cry very hard!)
She woke up at 1:40 - this waking has always been my downfall - I can never seem to get her to go back to sleep unless I take her in to bed with me. I was determined to stay strong.
I went in at 1:40 then again at 1:55..my next visit was supposed to be 2:15 - but she was already asleep by then!
She woke again at 5:30 - I fed her then and put her back in her crib at about 6:15 - there was some crying but not much - she fell asleep pretty quickly. She woke at 8 on the dot played in the crib a little - I got her at 8:20 when she started fussing.
Now - onto todays naps...but I am already feeling more positive about this. and FINALLY I slept in MY bed last night...yay!
ETA: I am a mean mommy - I forgot to mention I also stopped using the pacifier yesterday - completely - cold turkey since I think it is a lot of the reason she wakes at night (She is looking for it) so taking that into consideration as well - I don't think it was that badly.

I'm so glad it went well for you.
It's so hard to let them cry it out. Now I'm dealing with "Mommy can you lay down with me?" I tell Maddie I'll be right back & then check on her when she's asleep.

Good job...can I suggest that you don't do naps today as well? That is a lot of change in 1 day. But good luck!
