My OPI gel manicure chipped and it hasn't been 1 week!

There was really no reason for me to get this manicure. My nails don't chip. But while in the nail place on Saturday, the dude asked why I didn't try it.. he said he'd do it for $20. I said fine.

Here's the deal.. my nails grow SUPER fast.. and I HATE long nails, so while my nail polish rarely ever chips, the grow out after 1 week is so significant, that I have to get another manicure.

I knew this would happen with the gel manicure, but I did it anyway.

My issue is they have grown so much that now it has chipped right where the base of the gel starts.

My question to you... how do I get the "gel" off all together?

you can peel it off but not recommended since it can damage the nails.

Best thing is soaking in pure acetone, like you would with tips/artificial nails.
Soak enough, the come right off.

I did them before Florida and got ROYALLY annoyed since my place charges $35 and I got the french and little did I know it was $10 extra for that!


Day 3 of trip, my $45 Gel mani.... pointer nail chips off!
Being away I had no choice but to deal with it.
2nd wk, add two more that chipped.

I have come to realize that mani's are so much btr for me and I may not be going back to my nail place cause i felt screwed!

- im back to regular mani's as of the day I came back!
