My own little trip to the ER last night....
I will start off by saying I feel much better now, but here's what happened..
Around 8:30 last night I started having severe pains in my upper stomach. I was working at my night job last night so I didn't know what to do besides call my DH and ask him to come get me. He came up to the hotel and got me and we dropped DD with a friend. He brought me to the ER, but by that time I had started to feel better so I felt silly even being there. I thought about just going home, but I knew that 20 minutes earlier I was almost ready to call an ambulance, so it must have warranted my trip to the ER and we stayed.
Long story short and 2 sonos later, I had a gall bladder attack and I have gall stones 
I wanted to make sure that our baby was ok even though the pain was high in my stomach and I didin't think it was related. After 3 hours at the hospital (which wasn't too bad at all), I went home and I am feeling better and fine today.
So, if you question something GO TO THE HOSPITAL. I would have regretted going home and not knowing if everything were okay. I am glad I was diagnosed with something so now I have to watch what I am eating and stay away from fatty foods (which is my specialty it seems).
I guess the mozzerella sticks for dinner was not the greatest thing to eat

Glad to hear all turned out well. I totally agree with you about going to ER.
I had sever back pain while i was prego and avoided going to ER, then it got so bad, i had to go. They sent me home, but when i got home later that night i started vomitting. So had to go back, ended up my Rt kidney was swelling and was causing contractions. They were going to take the baby a month early if they didnt stop. They put me on meds and kept me in hospital for 5 days. Luckly the meds worked and didnt have to induce.
So like you said if you feel something not right.. defiantly take the time and go to the ER. Its always worth going.

Ouch! Glad you went. I get kidney stones from time to time. Not exactly the same thing, I know, but I kind of understand your pain
