my parents recieved candy on their doorstep!

It said something like," leave candy for someone else in the neighborhood, and eventually everyone in the neighborhood will get candy"

So my parents are eating the candy. Do you think this is strange? Is it the new thing to do before Halloween? Is it safe to eat? Probably just being paranoid but when you go trick or treating you know where the candy came from.

Anyone else ever get something like this?

Yup...it's called Booing. You boo someone usually by leaving them candy and then they are supposed to do it to another person.

aww! yup! "Booing"... i work in a school and the staff does this every year. and we get a picture of a ghost to hang on our door to show that we've already been "booed".
it seems like a lot of neighborhoods are starting to do it, too!
