My ped. ordered a nebulizer for Derek
How often and for how long should I use it? He is 4 months old.

My Dr said 6-8 times per day. If you have to use it more than that he needs to go to Dr. Did you get the meds that come in vials? You use the whole vial. I would sit my kids in their highchairs with some puffs and blow it into their nose and mouth though with him you "may" be able to use the mask. Good luck. It really does help!

I think it depends on the age of the child and the type of medication as well as the dosage. When Abby was on a nebulizer, she was to be given 4 treatments a day.

Some company is delivering the nebulizer. I am guessing I have to pick up the medication from the pharmacy which I think he called in.
