I am watching the news right now and they are saying that people are now registering for cash.....what are your feelings on this? I think its totally tacky. This could be for weddings or babies......

Wow, that's osbcene! I know stores will add gift cards to the bottom of registries but for a couple to actually ask for cash would be the incentive for me to send a gift.

Someone at work sent an invite via e-mail to everyone saying they were having an "Jack and Jill to raise funds for their wedding". At the time I was planning my wedding and I told them I wasn't going, they weren't giving me money for my wedding so I couldn't give them money for their wedding. I said we could call it a wash...

I saw this on the morning news on Channel 2.......they said there were several sites for cash registries.
