My "relationship" with blackheads has to end.
I HATE the way my nose looks! I know it seems trivial with all the other crappy body issues I have going on but I figure I would start somewhere!
How do I get rid of them? I have visited a derm. I have used scrubs that are supposed to loosen them up. I have used a steaming hot washcloth and tried to loosen them up. What else!?!?

Biore nose strips!! I swear, DH had sooo many blackheads it was disgusting. Now we both use them. The strips just lift them right out. It seriously works!!
Try it and let me know how you like them. I cannot imagine that they would not work for you.

i use these once in a while and they seem to do the job! how about getting a facial or going to a dermatologist, maybe they can help

They do work but they don't take out ALL of the blackheads! Just like the "surface" ones. And how often should I be using them anyway??
If I get a facial will all the blackheads really be eliminated??

A facial will do extractions and take them out (it hurts). But they will come back eventually. Its not a forever thing.

Does your daily cleanser have an exfoliator in it? That might help.
I also purchased my own extractor and hit any little blackheads once a week.
I also do a weekly mask and biore strip to keep those effers from coming back.
What kind of moisturizer are you using? Does it contain mineral oil? That might be blocking your pores.

Some people are just susceptible to them. I also have them and am obsessed with getting them out, but they come back. I would use the nose strips and facial cleanser with an exfoliator and move on with your life

No. I find that the Biore pore strips are more effective than facials, and a lot cheaper, too.
But like everyone else said, there seems to be only so much you can do. I'm cursed with them too.

The extractor doesn't work for me on my nose. Nothing works anymore so I go for facials every two months and that's been the solution.

Water, water, water. Drink lots of water. Add lemon to it. Try to have at least 5 20oz bottles a day. It is the ONLY thing that has helped my skin.
In addition, of course, to an oxygenating cleanser.

Now that I really look at my nose, I think its "brown" heads, not black - if that makes sense! I sure hope I never meet any of you in person; we will be checking out each others pores bigtime 
Thanks ladies! I think I am going to see about the extractor or get a really good exfoliator for my face. Any reco's?
