My Retrieval Is Sunday Morning...I Am SO Excited!
I stimulated for 15 nights. I take my HCG tonight at 10:00 PM. It seems so weird that I only mix 1ml of liquid with the 10,000 of powder (taking Novarel).
Anyway, my follies grew a lot. There are about 8-10 on each ovary. Some bigger then others. The doctor predicts to get many eggs but we shall see.
Let me ask anyone who went through a retrieval this!
Do they give the the grades of the eggs on this day when they are retrieved or is that not until the next day with the fertilization report. Also, I am so nervous because we have severe male factor infertility and are doing ICSI along with IVF. I am dying to know if they get enough good spermies for the eggs. Just in case. We have like 7 vials frozen as a back up.
I cannot believe how fast these two weeks went.

good luck! that is great about all the follies. 
How come they had you stim for so long? just wondering, they think I might need to go slower and longer also because I respond very well.

I am confused..u said u might have to stim slow because u are a fast responder to the meds. You mean a slow responer right, like me?

actually no, they are nervous about me overstimming so they said they might have me on lower meds and stimming at a little longer rate than normal. I don't know this is just what they told me. maybe i'm not explaining it correctly. but i actually respond very well and they dont want any overstimming.

Good luck!! I didn't get all the information about the embryos until the day after the ER. They day of the ER they tell you how many eggs they get, but that is all they know at that point. We did ICSI and 23/30 fertilized. We had a frozen sample, but didn't have to use it- his sample was good enough that day! Can't wait to hear your #'s!!

Very exciting!!!
We were only ever told how many eggs were retrieved that day.
The next day they would tell us how many embies they had.
At the transfer they would tell me how many cells the embies were. My dr. never told us grades/quality because he feels it got peoples hopes up if they heard really good quality or vice versa.

You will still probably only stim for ten days or so....generally they give you a suppresant along with the stims to help prevent OHSS.

You will still probably only stim for ten days or so....generally they give you a suppresant along with the stims to help prevent OHSS.
