My Review of SESAME PLACE and HOTEL and DUTCH WONDERLAND and HOTEL *LONG*

I just wrote a review for the past 40 min and realizeed I wasnt logged in and lost it all!!!
SESAME PLACE:
Arrived on Monday afternoon and decided to basically scout out the pace since we knew we owuld be going back on Tuesday all day. Took a ton of pics, did some dry rides, bought a bunch of things.

We returned on Tues. during 1 of 4 monsoons. We did the breakfast wi th cookie monster etc. so as far as the interaction it was AWESOME my DD got to see each character upclose about 3-4 times each one. Charcaters that were there were Cookie monster, abby, big bird and bert and ernie. It wa adorable to see her expressions. She ENJOYED IT and that alone was worth it. As far as the "breakfast"...omg...it really was AWLFUL! We never ate that's how bad it was. the set up was terrible. Food was laid out on a table near where everyone was lining up for pictures and it was self swserve and gross. People leaning over all the food, kids picking at the trays...etc...GROSS We would not eat a thing. So we basically paid for the breakfast for the up close interactions and that was worth it. Someone on LIF described it as a cheap knock off of Disney breakfast with characters and that is a PERFECT description....nothing competes with Disney!

After the breakfast monsoon #2 happened! So it was very nice of the staff to let everyone hang out in the area to let hte storm pass. IT was a pretty bad storm! and it lasted about 45 minutes.
So it was good we were at the breakfast bc otherwise we would have been stuck in this storm!!!
After it passed the sun came out and skies cleared and we enjoyed the hole day in SP. What was great was that it kept a lot of the day crowds away ...the parking lot was EMPTY and there were NOOOO LINES! Nothing like the day before and we enjoyed the entire park all day in the nice weather. The parade was great too and we got a GREAT spot to watch it.
Had a great time there!!!

SHERATON BUCKS COUNTY- we booked here bc of positive reviews and to be honest this was the first time they were NOT correct and not sure why!!!! IT was TERRIBLE!!! Hotel run down, dirty side, rooms small, horrible elevators, just not good!!!
Would never stay again. only PRO, the shuttle they provided was awesome, reliable and easy.

On Wed we drove to Lancaster. Drive would have been about 1 hr 15 mn min but took longer bc of storm #2. But truthfully it was an EASY ride.

EDEN RESORT AND SUITES- AMAZING! It was a beautiful resort, great value, sooo clean and staff great! Cannot believe it is a Best Western. We staye din a 1 BR suite, it had fridge, microwave, so clean and an area for preparing all my DD's food, bottles, separate BR, living room and nice bathroom.

indoor pool, outdoor pool and kiddie pool. We made use of the indoor pool on Wed bc of monsoon #3 (LOL). And I usually hate indoor pools, buthis one was great!
We never used the outdoor pool but did wlak there and it was awesome too! They have food and drink service poolside, playground for the kids, lots of chairs....overalll GReatT HOTEL!!!

DUTCH WONDERLAND- in my opinions BETTER than SESAME! LOVED IT! MY DD loved it Went on Thursday and we spent from 10am-1pm in Dukes Lagoon where she had BLAST!!!! Spent afternoon on dry rides too!. Love the park, perfect for the little one

There is sooo much to do in LAncaster and we are already planning to go back next year! And stay at Eden.

OVERALL: Sesame adorable esp if you kids love it (my daughter is OBSSESSED with SESAME!!)
DW- just PERFECT!!!! Little less "roudy" then sesame.....I happened to like it much better!..

We LOVED Eden Resort.....the first time we stayed there we were shocked it was a best western!!

Haven't been to Sesame, but, just went to DW and we LOVED it!!
We stayed across the street and the Country Inn & Suites. Gorgeous hotel.
Next year if we go back, I'll look into Eden. Seems to get a lot of great reviews on here.
