My run in with Nassau County PD
Middle Neck Rd btwn Northern and the train station is closed. Its been closed since 9am!!!
I ask the NCPD "what happened? its been closed since 9am!"
NCPD: Dunno
ME: I know you know something, so tell me please.
NCPD: Dunno, just got on duty
ME: Did someone die? Thats so sad!
NCPD: Dunno
ME: You know...dead, pushin up daisies, croaked, six feet under, no longer speaking, sleeping with the angels...*i go on and on till he interrupts me*
NCPD: Yes! Okay!! Someone may have died!! Why does it matter to you??
ME: Cause I had to drive all the way to Morton's before I could find a way home. That's all.
NCPD: Did you have a bad childhood or have you always been a cynic?
ME: Both *then Brooklyn and I walked away*

sheesh i usually get "you look 16. you are not really married."
no one has ever actually asked aloud if i was born a cynic or had a bad childhood!
worst part: dh wants to go to the precinct later and ask the cop to renact it for the video camera!!

Okie if you would like to be part of the live studio audience i will let you know what time and which precinct the renactment will take place.
Occifer *ya i spelled it right..the emily way, lol* Franco will be playing himself and I will be also be playing myself.

I wish you were with my drving home from work. I have an easy 20 minute commute. Today, it was an hour!
Deer Park Ave Closed..Got detoured onto one lane of Vanderbilt Pkwy
I wish you couldve asked the SCPD what happened!

I just heard the updated traffic a little while ago and I think it JUST reopened.
Of course now Im very curious as to what happened.
