My Sisters Best Friend is Awesome!
she is running in a marathon and dedicated it to my Mom- and what she wrote about my Mom is so sweet
My sister will be donating to her for her wedding favors!
from her website....
This year, I'm running with Fred's Team to support Lymphoma Cancer Research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. This has been a decision that I took in my own hands to celebrate and remember someone who was influential in my life, which would be my best friend Katie's mom. She is the one who nonchalantly suggested that I switched to field hockey from soccer and inspired me to become a teacher. I don't think I would have had the great experiences and opportunities today without her guidance.
So I ask that you please help me raise money for this research that is important to me. I'm putting on my running shoes for the cause and asking you for your help. Please support me as a Fred's Team Member by making a donation to my effort. Thank you!

the favor cards are already printed-
so we are going to make cards for each table with what her friend wrote- explaining that the donation is going to her instead- which is benefiting the same charity and MSKCC -
I am so touched that she is doing this- she asked our premission so that we wouldn't get upset-
my sister is lucky to have a friend like her
