My skin is a mess...has anyone had a facial at Edamame and did it help?

I am 15 weeks and since a few days before I got a BFP my skin has looked TERRIBLE! I NEVER EVER looked like this before in my life! I never even had acne as a teen. I absolutely hate it!

I'm thinking of going to Edamame for a facial ....or two...lol. But, I don't want to set myself up for disappointment - has anyone had one - did it help?

Have not gone for a facial, but I feel your pain, believe me! Chat Icon I swear, as soon as I got pregnant, my skin broke out like a teenager's! I never had blemishes before being pregnant!!! Everyone kept saying it would clear up after first trimester, and here I am, at 25 weeks, and it's still bad (although slightly improved). I'm hoping yours clears up long before 25 weeks!!

Mine just started clearing up. I never saw anything like that in my life. Very embarassing, I feel your pain. Not sure if a facial will help because it is hormone based. I bought the starter kit of Bare Minerals and love it!

I had a facial there and it DID help. I only had one though and it helped but unfortunately after a few weeks, my skin was back to being not the best looking. I highly recommend getting the package, where you get 3 or 4 facials. If you can swing it, I highly recommend it and that's what I should have done. Also, their products are GREAT! I still use them.

Thanks! Which facial did you get? I was just looking at their facial "menu" and it looks like the cleansing facial they use salycilic (sp?) acid which I know we are not supposed to use! What is up with that?

I am wondering the same thing. I guess if you use it once and while its ok as long as you dont use it everyday. My doc basically told me they say no because there is no testing done to see if it harms the baby.

I LOVED my Edamame facial---i went for one called the ReHydrating Facial because my skin was so dry---it was awesome! I highly recommend it.
