My son has a little mosquito-sized red hive on the side of his belly...*UPDATED*
it looks dry and it seems to itch him...its just that one...should I call the doctor and ask what the heck that is? Did anybody's child have anything like this?
ETA: Its not a ringworm...the bump is filled...

It is probably just a mosquito bite... I would just monitor it to see if there are any changes. My DD had one bite by her eye that was huge. Dr told me it was an allergic reaction to the bite and made my give her benadryl. By the next day it was down to almost nothing. Hopefully it is just a bite and you don't have to do anything. Just a pain knowing your DC has it

The doctor wants to see it...looks like it could be the beginning of eczema... I hope not...my little sis had it pretty bad when she was young...

Being an eczema Mom-I doubt it. My sons eczema always started with red patches-not a bump. I think its a bug bite either mosquito or spider..

It does look like a small red patch with dry skin on it...but its small...like the size of a mosquito bite.
