My son's bike was stolen
Right out of our driveway! If you see anyone driving a green Mongoose around West Babylon...let me know!

Re: My son's bike was stolen
Let the local precincts know. Sometimes they just take it for a joy ride and ditch it later.

Re: My son's bike was stolen
I would definitely call the police, there may be a serial number or something.

Re: My son's bike was stolen
We called the cops, they said it was a good idea in case of homeowners insurance anyway
But do you think people care that they stole a 10 year old's bike? And if it was a say a teenager, are his parents wondering "Gee...where did you get that bike?"

Re: My son's bike was stolen
Check Craigslist in a few days. My brother had 3 bikes stolen and they were posted on Craigslist within a few days. Police went and pretended they were potential buyers and recovered the bikes for my brother and other items stolen from neighbors.

Re: My son's bike was stolen
I am so sorry, I can not imagine how upset your son is, I can not stand a thief, and when they victimize a child that really makes me angry
