My turn to be worst Mom ever
Ellie was on her belly on the couch and she looked so cute and grown up. I turned away for a second to grab the camera and she hurled herself onto the floor on her head of course. I've never heard my little girl scream like that before. And to think the teacher at /gymboree just this morning was poking fun that it n=must be my first b/c I was so protective. She totally spit up a bunch, but now calmed down. do we call the ped?

Nah, I know a mom that let her baby fall while holding onto a chair just for a picture.
I don't think there is a need to call the pediatrician unless she lost consciousness. It was bound to happen sometime - just be glad it was minor.
As for the spit-up, I can tell you that it was probably more from her being upset than anything else...

I agree with Barbara, probably no need to call the doc but if it will ease your mind then it can't hurt. We've all been there

Hey kid, sh*it happens! They all fall off something sometime, and there has to be a first time right???
My advice would be NOT to call the ped unless she was not herself, ie if she was lethargic, not eating etc...if she is her normal happy self, then she is probably fine.
My motto is this "No blood after scream, all good"

Stuff like this happens all the time. It may be her first fall, but, it won't be her last. She, probably, spit up because she was upset. If she is her normal self, no need to call the ped.
