The title of the article is pretty telling to me that this guy is so removed from all of his kids..

That's soo beyond, I cant even comprehend it. It disgusts me.
I can understand being nervous, anxious, a bit angry even but .....

-thinking of aborting one
-hoping there is something wrong with one, so they can abort without guilt.
-"My wife and I even both privately admitted that we don't like the new children", which is of course insane.

This wasnt even an oops, an oops pregnancy I could have more understanding for.

You went into this knowing it was a possibility. You knew you lived in a one bedroom before you went for the second child.

I think they are both 2 selfish people, who's marriage is in the end stages and will probably be destroyed 6 months into the twins. I feel bad for all 3 of these babies.

The guy's an idiot....but to be honest, this article doesn't bother half as much as that poor excuse of a mother who wrote that recent article about how she regretted having her children...real names and all. Chat Icon

I just hope they these parents don't ever let these boys know how they felt about them.

If they can't get over this by the time they are born perhaps they should consider adoption.

But those were his feelings at a snapshot in time. Who's to say he feels like that the next day the next week or the next year.

I have a friend who had an oops and battled with not wanting to be pregnant for most of her pregnancy. While she didn't plan it we are all adults and if you have sex you know it's a possibility. Is she a horrible person because she had those feeling. No she loves her daughter now. And maybe this couple has come to terms with everything.

Who are we to judge other people.

its really bothering me that people are reacting as if this was a surprise to them...

seriously. i dont even get the debate. they dont deserve any sympathy. as well informed adults, they knew full well that there was a chance of coming out with twins. dont even play it off the it was teh doctor's fault.
