Myspace question: Am I the only one who is weird-ed out by...
DH having a myspace account? He gives me the freedom to look at it whenever I want, but that site skeeves me a bit. Am I alone here? I know everyone in the free-world has an account. I did a while ago, but a few too many shady guys tried to be my friend and I did not like what the site was about.

I have A myspace account and yes you can get some weirdo's who want to be your friend, If I dont know the person I just deny them and they dont bother me after that.

I agree. Plus if he lets you look at it he obviously has nothing to hide. I wouldnt worry.

Only because he lets you check it whenever you want I wouldn't worry. If he had it hidden and you found out about it, then I would be upset. You are very lucky you have a husband that is so open with you!!!!

Dh and I both have one...its no big deal ... we are there to find old friends/HS /college-actually the novelty has worn off a bit-but I wouldnt worry if he says check it whenever you want... I wouldnt worry either way though-

you are not alone! That site skeeves me as well. there was some drama in my family a few months ago when my sisters found out some stuff about our little cousin (14 ys old) on her myspace page. 
it's a freak show!

Well, both JT and I have myspace pages. I don't really put anything all that personal on there and neither does JT. We both have access to each other's accounts, so I'm not weirded out. I like it because I've gotten in touch with people I otherwise never would have spoken to again.

I have one and at first my DH didn't like it....most of my friends are friends from LIW/LIF and friends from college. Some people think its a dating site...but its not. It helped me to reconnect with so many old friends.
ETA.....In searching I found some people I know (but don't talk to anymore) and learned some things I didn;t really need to know about them though and that skeeved me

I have a My Space page and its set to private -meaning only people who already know me and are my friends can see it. That way I dont get unwanted friends looking to be my friend. DH doesn't care I have one, he knows its mostly my sister, cousin and mommy friends on it.

I don't get the whole myspace thing personally-I prefer to keep in touch with people directly either over the phone, through email or in person.
