Mystic CT hotel recommendations?
I think we want to go there for the weekend, I have been there before, but can;'t remember the hotel of course. Does anyone have any recommendations for a hotel that is close to the aquarium and the village and will be good with a 1 1/2 year old?
TIA

I've never stayed there personally so I'd recommend checking on tripadvisor.com
Have fun!

We stayed at the Hyatt Place in Mystic. It's a nice, modern hotel, with HUGE rooms. The only downfall is no indoor pool.

Re: Mystic CT hotel recommendations?
ah, I just remembered I stayed at the holiday Inn Express...went to tripadvisor(thanks for that) saw the photos, and remembered, HA! I am pretty sure they have a pool, and I know it was close to everything.
But the Hyatt looks sooo nice, and I like that the tv is seperate from the sleeping area..tempting..

I agree. DH and I just stayed here in Feb. and really liked it, but the pool is outdoors.

We went there based on Summers Reccomendation a few weeks ago and we LOVED it.
The rooms are HUGE.....Big screen HDTV, a sectional sofa in another room...Fridge in the room .... Huge bed with Down Comforters and down pillow bed topper......Staff was great. Free Continental breakfest but they had bagels, enlglish muffins, tons of fruit, cereals, oatmeal...and FREE starbucks coffee!!
Old Mystic Village was less then 2 blocks away, you could walk it in under 2-3 min's.
The aqaurium was around the block...you could walk to that as well too, about 1/4 mile.
You could also walk to the seaport...its the other direction about 1/4-1/2 mile.
And Finally downtown mystic is about a mile away.
The price we got was great and if I ever go back I will stay there.
Eta- The Tv actually swivels so you can watch it from the bed area or the other area. And they have Movies on Demand that are still in the theaters!! ( although they were like $13.99!)
