Mystic Seaport / Mohegan Sun
When is a good time of year to go and not sweat like crazy???
Where should we stay ?? I wanted to stay at Mohegan but the rooms are like $300/nt...

I'm actually going in 2 weeks. Not staying at the Mohegan though. We're staying at th eMystic Hilton. Right in the center of Mystic and not far from Mohegan and Foxwoods.

I was in Mystic on business in September, which was a great time to go, good weather and the crowds weren't bad.
I think the aquarium is actually a lot better than the seaport (unless you love ships) but you can get a 2 days pass for each of them.
My job paid for the first night and the second night we hotwired a place for $99/night. It wasn't bad, but very expensive.

I agree. I wes there last July, and the seaport is just okay. It was a lot smaller than I remembered it from when I was little!

We stayed at the Microtel inn which is 2 minutes away from Mohegan. They have a shuttle bus that will take you and pick you up from there. The rooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. I think the room was around $70 a night
