Myth?? Heart rate monitor watch

Ok..I know this is probably going to sound silly but a friend of mine told me she had a heartrate watch (like for the gym) when she was pregnant and it averaged her rate and the babies...so if our resting rate is somehwere @ 80 which mine usualy is and the baby is @ 140-160...than the average would come out to @ 110 right...

well i have been really trying to stay calm & positive but after all the previous losses I am a bit anxious..it is my first week without a dr appt..i know i am so spoiled...i should be able to wait 2 weeks..most people wait a month between..anyway i went out and brought a watch just to see..so sitting at my desk doing nothng it has me at 115...

what do you think...is this a total baby myth??

Ok now it is at 88..so i think that answers my own question..worth trying..i just have to be patient and wait for monday =)

it sounds a bit 'strange' to me but who on earth am i to know??

your heart rate changes a LOT during the day...and so does the baby's....if you cough, it could cause a spike, etc.

right now - the baby is likely sleeping...so it may be lower (????)....
