Nail Polish Monthly Boxes?
Does anyone do these? I am a nail fiend. I only ever do them at home myself because I convince myself I'm saving money, even though I'm probably not since I buy so many damn nail polishes. lol! Also, my sister is DIY nail crazy- though she's much better at it than me, doing all crazy designs and french manicures and fun stuff- so I figured a subscription box might be a nice Christmas gift. I did a quick search and found several- Julep, Square Hue, Blackbox, Club Nail Polish... ack! I don't know where to start! Has anybody done any of these? Would you recommend them? Did you hate them? TIA!

I just inquired with Julep and for $20. right now thats too much for me while Im already doing Ipsy and I get a polish every now and then.

Yeah, $20 is a bit much. I like that Ipsy is only $10. I can swing that.

Ooh! Good to know. Maybe I'll try it for a month and see if it's worth it.
ETA: Just ordered!  And I ordered 2 nail polishes at $5 each to get free shipping. They seriously know how to sell sh!t to me.

I do the julep.. honestly it is worth it, I think the polishes are like $12-14 each at Sephora.. I change up the boxes when I want and they have add-ons that are $4.99 each. You can't buy a BAD polish at CVS for $4.99

That is a pretty good way of looking at it! I love that they allow you to add on extras for $5. I added 2 sets in this box in order to get free shipping since the cost of shipping was only a couple dollars less than the cost of the additional sets. I really like it though! The colors are gorgeous. I can't wait to go home and do my nails tonight. It also came with a really nice file and some candy corn!

My right hand does. But that's nothing a little nail polish remover and a thin paint brush cant' fix.

take the polish with you to salon. Most likely this polish will last better than theirs anyways!
I got the free one and I LOVE THE COLORS!
I didnt want to order but a box is on the way...so I'll see how it works.

I did my nails last night and I loved the polish. I usually use Essie or OPI and I think this was just as nice. I did a plum color with gold glitter on my ring fingers. The glitter is a little more gooey than the regular polish, but it still went on nice and smooth, albeit thick.
