nair hair remover

As I am now in the middle of my 6 month I'm finding it a lot more difficult to shave certain areasChat Icon I can't wax because my skin is so sensitive that when I had it done in the past it took months to get my skin looking normal again. I had huge red welts it was a nightmare. So my question is can we use cream hair removers?

Re: nair hair remover

I read it was ok on babycenter.com. My last pregnancy I got a wax at the very end to have thing nice and neat for the birth and it was unbelievably painful. I plan to Nair close to the end this time.

Re: nair hair remover

nair smells bad! i even tried veet prior to pregnancy and the same thing, it smells regardless of "cucumber melon" scent or whatever and it leaves your legs stubbly. Not sure about using it while you are pregnant.. but i wouldnt waste the money personally.

Re: nair hair remover

I would be afraid to use nair "down there". Maybe your DH can help you? I do my best with a mirror and let DH do the touch-ups!

Re: nair hair remover

I tried Nair pre-pregnancy. The smell made me sick and it didn't work very well. I would use a mirror and ask DH to help with touchups like Julz suggested. That's what I do and it works out very well.
