Name change at bank?
Will they accept my social security card or do I have to have my driver's license? I havent changed my last name yet with DMV and someone wrote me a check with my new last name. I cant change my last name with DMV yet because I have no more time off this year. Plus I bought airline tickets that bear my maiden name. What to do?

All I brought was my marraige license and they were fine with that. I use Chase.

I think you can put "for deposit only" on your check and you won't have a problem.
Then you can go in and withdraw it - that is a round about way to do it

most banks wont let you deposit either unless the name matches, bc they know you can withdraw it!
I would bring your marriage license, that should be good enough proof for them.
