Naomi Campbell Cops a Plea
TMZ has learned that supermodel Naomi Campbell has pled guilty to misdemeanor assault. Campbell was charged with throwing a BlackBerry at her maid last March after accusing the maid of stealing a coveted pair of jeans.
Campbell's lawyer unsuccessfully tried to cut a deal last November with the Manhattan D.A.'s office. Naomi was arrested in March 2006 after Ana Scolavino claimed she was the target of the supermodel's flying crystal-covered BlackBerry over an allegedly stolen pair of jeans.
After her November court appearance, her lawyer, David Breitbart, indicated that Campbell might be willing to do some form of community service as punishment.
