Nap Q for moms of toddlers 2yr +
What time does your DC take a nap in the afternoon and how long ?
If your DC doesn't take a nap any more , when did he/she stop?

always between 12:30 and 1 and she'll sleep til 2-2:30.

He goes down about 2ish and wakes up about 5ish.
BUT he doesn't nap everyday, but when he does, I get a nice chunk of time

same here except i usually have to wake him up. he's sleep for 4 hrs if we let him but then he gets up at 5:30am...

I don't schedule my days around her naps, but if we are home she usually goes down for 2-3 hours between 11-12, depending on what time she wakes up in the morning. If we are out and about then she'll take a nap when we get home or she'll sleep in the car.

I jinxed myself by bragging about nap times a couple months ago.
In the last few weeks, DD has started to skip naps.
When she does nap, it's usually for 2-3 hours.

Well we are kind of stuck with her napping between 2 and 3 - and she naps for about 2 hours. She used to nap around 1 but her nursery school is from 1230-230 so if I put her down too early the other days (she goes 2 days a week) then she gets tired in school.
Although yesterday and today she seems to be having trouble going down - she went in around 230 yesterday and 245 today and today she is still up playing in her crib singing and talking yesterday she didn't go down for over an hour again.
We have problems though when she doesn't nap - so it gets tricky. If she doesn't nap and we try to put her down at say 7pm she is up at 4 am wanting to play.

When he does nap he goes down b/w 2 and 3:30 depending on the day and what time he wakes up. He sleeps 1.5 hrs.
However, at 25.5 months he RARELY naps - at most once a week. This is regardless of how tired he is. He will play in the crib - talking, singing, running - like a lunatic for an hour if I leave him there. I don't understand it. This started a few months b/f he turned two but, then he was naping more days than not. Now it's the opposite

DD wakes around 6:30-6:45am
Goes down for a nap usually at 2pm; nap lasts 1.5-3 hours, usually in the 2 hour range.
Bed by 8:15 or 8:30pm at the latest.

M,W,F: DS naps from about 2-4/430
T,Th: DS naps from about 3-5/530
Its all worked out around school and EI.
If we are out and about, I don't worry about a nap.

DD is 3.5 and still naps most days. She may skip a day here or there. She reslly functions much better with a nap though so I try to push for it.
She wakes around 7 am
naps from 1:30-4:00 or so
bedtime 7:30/7:45

I could have wrote this word for word...
when my DD goes down she takes a nice big one..but she is starting to wean herself, I think...But she doesnt know/realize that she needs them..HAHA!
and if we are home its usually after lunch around 1-2ish
and if we are out it is usually in the stroller or when we get home...we have had a couple of 4-630 ones...UGH..that we have to wake her so she is not up all night!!

She sleeps from 2:40-5pm-ish. She would sleep later, but that's when I get her up. She goes back to bed no later than 8pm.
