Napping issues at 14 months?
For a little over a week now, Jake is not napping well. I'm concerned because he's always been a very good napper. Up until last week or so - it was always 2 naps a day for a total of 3 - 4 hrs.
Suddenly he'll only nap 30 - 1 hr at the most for the whole day. Is this a phase or did he change his nap schedule that drastically from one day to the next? Could he be coming down with something... or maybe it's somehow related to teething?
How much is your 1+ yr old napping?

Re: Napping issues at 14 months?
Jared will take an hour-hour and a half nap during the day. If he gets up early, I can squeeze 2 naps in but mostly just one.
Today he's getting one...he is still sleeping now from last night!

Re: Napping issues at 14 months?
My ped said that around 14/15 months they may start to skip one nap. Nate still takes a morning nap around 9am and another around 1 or 2pm. Sometimes the morning nap is 30 min and the second is maybe a hour. She said maybe try skipping the morning nap and putting him down earlier for one nap.

That's amazing! I wish Nate would sleep late.

This is right around the age where my ds gave up his second nap. Then right after he turned two he gave up all naps. No break for mommy now!

Re: Napping issues at 14 months?
This happened to me with Alex around the same age. Now we are on one nap a day for 1.5 hours. It drives me nuts but he won't due 2 naps and never longer than 1.5 hours. However, he does sleep well at night 6:30 - 6:30 7am. He is probably ready for one nap a day.

Re: Napping issues at 14 months?
We've been down to one nap (1- 1/2 hours) since around 15 months...
