napping too long...do you wake dc?
do you wake your baby if they have been napping for over 2 hours???, he went down at 2 and i would prefer to sleep through the night.

mine went down at 2.30 and is still fast asleep in her swing ....i am not going to wake her ..... never wake a sleeping baby in my house 
plus ive had some great fun with DS while she has slept ..
i say let him sleep maybe he is growing

DD is 15 months....she usually goes down for a nap around noon if she isnt up by 3 i usually get her up.

hmmm ok, so you are telling me he will go down at his regular bed time, he never napped this long, talk about being a paranoid mom, i stress over him not sleeping and now i am stressing over him napping too much

absolutely!!! Sometimes he sleeps a lot during the day, sometimes not so much. He gets tired around 7:30 ish every single night.
He must need the sleep-so let him. It will let you get other things done too!

Never wake them! LOL. My two year old is still sleeping since about 2 o'clock and I am loving watching Oprah!
They way I look at it, I'll have DH home soon to help, so I'm enjoying her sleepy Friday.

I would never wake a newborn. Once they became a toddler, I would wake them up if they were still napping around 5pm. Of course if they were sick I'd let them sleep.

Nope! The ONLY time I wake her from a nap is if it's getting to close to bedtime. I like for DD to be awake for at least 2 hrs. before bed.

How old is DC-my DD would sleep 3.5-4 hours at a time during the day so i would wake her around 3 hours..now she cat naps all am and then does a 2 hour in the afternoon, odds are, if they go mega long, like my DD then i would but otherwise, 2 hours is nothing really to worry about..

That has happened to me only once Peter fell asleep at 3:30 and he was still sleeping at 5:30....I woke him up at ..I know that is so mean but then he would have never went to sleep until who the he!! knows when... But he really is A HORRIBLE NAPPER!

Nope Ronan slept from 12:30-5 today! And went to sleep at 7 and fell asleep in 10 minutes or so
