Of course Emily knows. 
He is not going to leave DEI. He just wants what is rightfully his, which is part ownership in the 8 car. He might leave later in his career to drive the 3 car for Childress. Theresa and Kelly are trying to stir up drama for A) Sales and B) For DEJr to get more money.
eta: Long Story Short he wants to see the money, which he definitley deserves. He will never be his Dad but by the age of 32, Big E had 7 wins and Jr had 17. Sooo Theresa needs to show Jr the money!

I can't really see him leaving DEI. IMO, I don't care who he races fror as long as he is still out there and I get to see him race!
