Nassau County Grand Jurty Summons
Has anyone ever done Grand Jury Duty in Nassau??
I got summons for October 15th but I am either going to have to postpone it or try to get out of it. I have too many trips planned in the coming weeks. They say that you MUST be ready to serve for 4 weeks!
I work for a small company & it is going to be a complete hardship on my company to have me out for 4 weeks. Do you think I will be able to get out of it if I have my boss write a letter or speak to them when I call???

Unfortunately, I think the only thing you can do is postpone the date. The courts have become real strict in what they will allow as an excuse.

I believe if your company is less than 10 people or something like that you can be excused.
I would call them though to make sure.
