Nassau County SPCA
At the Pet Expo on Sunday, I found out that there IS a Nassau County SPCA. I signed up to volunteer -- it is ALL volunteer-based. They are looking for anyone who can help out in any way at all.

What a great idea Kara.
I actually was looking to volunteer at a shelter or someting, but this is perfect.
The Suffolk volunteer application is pretty intimidating though..

Well I wrote on Monday and haven't heard back yet. Although I suppose they are pretty busy after the Pet Expo.
