Hello,
My husband and I are in the midst of relocating from Nassau County to Suffolk, the Commack School District in particular.
Our 2.5 year old twins are currently receiving EI services including speech, O/T, & special ed/teacher. All three therapists strongly believe that by the time the kids reach kindergarten they should be caught up.
Today my husband mentioned to one of the therapists that we might be relocating and she said that the services in Nassau County are one of the best in the country and Suffolk is not as good.

Has anyone made the transition from the Nassau to Suffolk System? Do you feel the same way?
If we stay in Nassau what nursery schools/pre-k do you reccommend for children who need services?
