Re: Nassau good trainers??
I know a great one in Franklin Square. She charges I think $50 a visit, other than first visit.
We loved her. Much experience with dogs, great.
FM me if you want her name. She will come to your house once a week or so. I highly recommend.

Me three. We just started training with Molly and I think it has helped her (and us) so much.

Re: Nassau good trainers??
I think it might be time to do this with Max. He is great with the baby, but not so good with older kids and I am worried about when the baby gets older. About how much did they cost? TIA

Re: Nassau good trainers??
We are actually using a trainer that is coming for the first time next week for TINY.
He was recommended from our new pet sitter.
I will post if we liked him in the future...

Re: Nassau good trainers??
The trainer was over yesterday.
He said Tiny needs 6 sessions.
As of yesterday, he taught Tiny to sit, stay and go to his place.
We have to reinforce these commands this week.
His place, is his bed. The trainer says when he is trained to stay, loads of people can knock on the door, enter the house.....walk by the dog, drop things, eat....etc. and the dog will not move from his place until he is told he can move.
Tiny did really well yesterday. We have a lot of work to do for him, but I know as soon as he is trained he will be a lot better for when Danielle and I have kids....and that is a big concern for us.
You should of saw the big dog the trainer brought with him. All of a sudden I see this huge Pitbull mix standing at the storm door. With one command from the trainer, the dog just dropped to the floor and did not move.
