Nassau Parks
Are there any Nassau parks that have "shelters??" Looking for a place for my SIL's grad party!
TIA!!!! I wouldn't be opposed to a place on the border.

Re: Nassau Parks
Hempstead Lake has a sheltered area, as does Belmont Lake,. But these are state parks, not county. And I don't know which border you want -- Queens, or Suffolk?

Re: Nassau Parks
Hempstead Lake State Park can be a little dicey - I wouldn't go there if you are not familiar with the park.
If you live in the Town of Hempstead, check out Lido Beach. They have the "mushrooms" at the beach that provide some shelter.
