Natural FET
Anyone have any experience with a natural FET? Looks like I will be doing one next month and I do not know anything about FET's. Its almost seems too easy and "natural". Do I trust my body to be on schedule, after all this time? Also, does anyone know anyone successful with one? Thanks.

Re: Natural FET
I just made a similar post...I don't know what is considered to be medicated or natural for me
I don't ovulate on my own, yet over the past year or so , I get AF ( which the gyn says is annovulatory bleeding) and I was told only estrogen patches and PIO
Seems way too "simple"

Re: Natural FET
Hey Bobs,
Your cycle sounds like a medicated cycle. I'm surprised you will not be on lupron. I have no meds at all. Not even PIO, I'll have suppositories (which with all my cycles I have never used). That is even scarier. But, I have regular cycles (thank goodness for some things to be "normal", I'll take it). I don't go in for monitoring until CD10. Then its peeing in a cup and b/w & u/s.

I was kind of suprised about the Lupron thing as well ....When I had my RE consult, he never mentioned it and when I brought it up to the NP while I was having a blood draw she said they haven't used Lupron there for FET in ages
They did say I could do the suppositories, but since the needles didnt bother me, I heard the suppositories are pretty icky so I said, give me the needles
Good Luck

Re: Natural FET
Bops - I am chicken and so is DH, so I have hired a nurse (who since has become my friend) to do my PIO shots for every cycle. I feel so good knowing she wont have to come out at 9pm at night and do my shots. I know she said it wasn't a problem, but I just always felt so bad. In a weird way, now I'll have control over the cycle. Wont have to rush back for shots etc.... but, yes with the "yuck" factor...LOL.... when are you starting?

Re: Natural FET
Thats great ! My DH was nervous he was going to hurt me at first, and then when he saw that I was ok, he was ok, so we went with it...If I had to do them myself, it would have been a whole 'nother story though- LOL
I have some preliminary stuff to do ( saline sono blah blah blah, so perhaps mid-late summer )

I had 2 natural FET's recently (one in February and one in March). Unfortunately, both were chemical pregnancies. It so easy and it feels really good to be off the hormones. Prog Supps started the day of the transfer for me (as well as an antibiotic an steroid). BEST OF LUCK!

Sorry about your two losses. But, thank you for the information. I will also be on antibiotic and steroids. Seems I'm always learning new stuff with these cycles.
