Re: Natural remedies for gas pains??
My doctor recommended using Milk of magnesia
I've been chomping on TUMS like crazy.
I've also heard that Beano is good (and safe during pg)

Re: Natural remedies for gas pains??
I've been avoiding broccoli and cauliflower, which tends to give me gas, but I've been keeping track the last couple days and can't really find a common food that's causing it.

Re: Natural remedies for gas pains??
ummm...this might be a little embarrassing but....get on the ground on all 4s and rock back and forth (front to back). For some reason this moved my gas around my uterus. Also, if that didn't work i would lay on my back and push my legs up in the air as high as i could. That would sometimes let me pass the gas. It was the only thing that worked for me.

Re: Natural remedies for gas pains??
well you would be surprised at what gives you gas!! I know your digestive system is slowing but a diet high in fiber giving your intestines less time to store the food might help reducing the gas. I wasn't saying it to be an a$$..

Re: Natural remedies for gas pains??
Oh, I'm having the same problem... Well, I did for the past 2 weeks. It's a little bit better now. I just cut out anything that would give me gas and added in more protien/fiber foods.
I must confess... I was also drinking soda.. I guess one can isn't what it was pre-pregnancy! I'm drinking lemonade and water now ONLY. As, I'm totally scared to get those pains in the middle of the night.
How I got rid of it?? I just burped all day (how embarrassing! such a piggy!)

Re: Natural remedies for gas pains??
Try walking and drinking alot of water. The walking will help get the gas moving. I dont know if you are drinking coffee or not but if you are not that could definitly be a culprite so can tea. I would also avoid any carbinated drinks.
