Nausea when I eat... Long
I have been dealing with IBS for over 20 years. mainly IBS-C.. Really bad sometimes. I am lactose intolerant on top of it. I don't eat fast food, fried foods, and nothing spicy.. Lots of carbs.. I have noticed since I had my son in 2009, that when I eat sometimes, I get seriously nauseous. Almost vomiting nauseous. And I can't stand vomiting.. I am a baby when it comes to that.. So I end up having a panic attack.. Which makes everything worse... Aside from all that, the past few weeks have been bad with me eating and feeling sick. I had a huge lactose intolerant attack this past wed. Ate too much cheese in a short amount of time and spent most of Wed in the bathroom. My own fault. Now when I eat anything, I am nauseous. Toast, soup, pasta. Haven't had much of anything to eat because of it.. I need to see a GI, but I can't find a decent one in my plan in my area. I have been taking Zofran. left over from a few months ago. It helps a lot.. My regular dr doesn't like to give it to me. I have to fight with him.. My friends Dad has similar problems and he is also on it, so I know they use it for this problem. Has anyone else had this issue? I don't know how common it is.. Should I be worried?

Have they checked your gallbladder? That could be a part of it... Pregnancy can TOTALLY lead to gallbladder issues.
Maybe ask your GI to check it out.

Re: Nausea when I eat... Long
You say you eat alot of carbs....I just recently found out i have celiac disease and am not able to tolerate glutton. Some days are better than others, I find if i eat some glutton I may feel have nausea, but not get full blown sick, other days, I am sick big time, depends of what the item i ate is. Maybe cut some carbs for a day or two to rule out glutton and see how that goes? I have lactose intolerance as well, and again, sometimes it is worse than others, like cream cheese kills me, but a slice of cheese is ok. I also read that lactose and glutton intolerance are commonly coexisting....just a suggestion. Feel better.

I had my gallbladder checked twice already. It didn't seem to be that.. I had different pains when I thought it was my gallbladder. This is just nausea when I eat. Tonight was ok. I had meat and potatoes. I may go for another scan..

I will have to try that.. Thanks. And I use to be ok with most cheeses, now I have major issues with Mozzarella cheese. One of my faves... I hope it isn't gluton... I can barely eat most foods as it is... Thanks for the info...

I also recently found out I am gluten intolerant. I was diagnosed with IBS 10 years ago and had on average 3-5 stomaches a week since I gave up gluten 6 months ago I have had 2 "IBS" attacks both times I ate dishes that contained wheat flour...I may have IBS but I am convinced That the majority of my stomach problems were the result of gluten sensitivity. You may want to consider trying an elimination diet.

It could be gastroparesis. I got it after getting really sick abroad but any sort of trauma can cause it. Try eating smaller meals more often and nothing too heavy like red meat or fried food. I ended up taking meds for it for two years and now its subsided.

I think that is what my friends father has.. What kind of medication did you take? Have you had any flare ups? Thanks for the information. Glad you are feeling better.

I took domperidone. Its not fda approved but I would get it at a compound pharmacy in jersey without issues. I havent had any issues for about 6 months. I also did acupuntcure, id like to say that helped.
