Near fainting at 5 1/2 weeks

This morning I woke up and, like I do every morning, I threw on a hoodie and took the dog for a quick walk. As soon as I stepped outside, I got really nauseous and I had the feeling like I was going to faint. I let the dog pee and walked back to the house as fast as I could. Luckily, I made it to my couch. Then I got really intense cold sweats. My arms felt heavy. I just laid there for about 10 mins until I could get up. I ate an apple and an orange thinking maybe it was blood sugar and I am starting to feel better.

I'm going to call the dr when they open but has anyone had this? Blood pressure issue or maybe blood sugar? I am not diabetic. I feel like it's too soon to have problems like this! I'm just over 5 weeks along.

I had the exact same thing happen at probably the same time in my pregnancy. . My first thoughts were low blood sugar too so I would drink juice and just sit and relax til it passed. Def. mention it to your dr. but for me, this was one of my very early pregnancy signs. This happened to me prior to this pregnancy as well (which i ended up having a MC) so when I had it happen again this time around, I knew I was pregnant again. I'm now 31 weeks and never had it happen again since very early on in the pregnancy.

I am thinking it's blood sugar.
You are fasting all night so mornings are rough.
You should probably eat something as soon as you wake up- something small like a yogurt, granola bar, whatever.

Same thing happened to me early on in pregnancy. Blood sugar and low blood pressure. Drink some juice before walking the dog or just right when you wake up. Truthfully, I had the blood sugar issue pretty much throughout pregnancy. Got a little better in the middle, and then bad again towards the end. Any headaches I had I could contribute to the blood sugar. Also keep hydrated. You can't drink enough water.

Would this be something to even call the doctor about? I feel better now that I've eaten.

I'd mention at next visit but no need to call if you feel better after eating something.

It happens to me (even pre pregnancy) if I don't eat or if I'm dehydrated. Try to always keep water and a snack on you.

This happened to me both times before I knew I was pregnant. The first time its what made me test and as soon as it happened the second time, I said omg I'm pregnant and I was lol both time's it was in the morning before I ate and I was on my feet at work. When I brought it up to my Dr she said it sounded like low blood pressure.
