Neat freak moms and sand/water tables
So I set up Andrew's sand/water table and of course the sand and water CANNOT stay on separate sides with a 20 month old, right?
So me, the crazy OCD mom, is sitting there next to her son scooping out pinchfuls of wet sand with her hand as shovelfuls of sand are continually pouring into the water side by a cute little boy.
A losing battle for sure!

awww...sometimes you just have to let them do it, and clean up after them later.

Thats why ours is strictly a sand table. No mud here!

This is why I will only have a water table. I would have a heart attack with all that sand!

Re: Neat freak moms and sand/water tables
No sand table or sandbox at all for my DD. Way too messy for me.
I may get a water table, but the potential for mess still scares me.

The funniest part is that I call it "cleaning" up the sand and water mixture, but I am really playing.

Re: Neat freak moms and sand/water tables
Well, I bought a S&W table, filled it with rice because I hate sand. You should have seen my living room! It took hours to clean up the rice and I still find pieces here and there. So it's been covered since. I plan to take it outside when it's consistently warm and just fill it with water.
