Does she have an iPod? Our nephew who is 13 asked for a special color iPod Shuffle so that's what we got him for Christmas.

Hmmm, ok... how about something a bit different, like tickets to a broadway show (the little mermaid is supposed to be great, as is lion king and other kid friendly shows). Then make it like a whole day thing with dinner in the city and a visit to rockefeller center.

You have great ideas!....however...she doesn't really live that close to me so it wouldn't be the easy to pick her up and get her to the city....she also has a brother that I would need to take also if I were to do that....
Keep the ideas coming....these have been great suggestions.

Oh, does she have a NintendoDS? I hear a lot of kids like this and it's not TOO expensive compared to the PSP or a full gaming system.
Does she like Bratz? My 6 yo niece likes them and on her wishlist was the Bratz World House (like a big barbie play house) and the Bratz white convertible. They also have the Bratz World Mansion but that one is more $$.

What about the Nintendo DS?
It is on sale at Costco -- the system, car charger and a game all for 139 bucks. It is supposed to be the big thing this Christmas season -- it is all my nephew talks about lately!
