need a craft idea for a 4 year old

Hoping a creative mind can help me...we are hosting Christmas Eve this year and my husband and I were thinking it would be cute to give everyone that comes something from our son....we'd like him to make something, like an ornament or something along those lines but I am just not crafty..AT ALL...and wondering if anyone has some good ideas or seen anything...we were trying to come up with somethig that could be personal to that individual ...hope this makes sense...any ideas????

I made little gingerbread men ornaments with my kids for Christmas. DS will be 4 in a few weeks and he had a blast! I'm also doing both my kids hand prints and making them into santas. My MIL told me about it, so I don't have the link, but if you use pinterest I've seen it on there!

What about buying DIY picture frames at a craft store and have him decorate them with holiday themed stickers, red and green glitter, etc?

Michaels sells sets of DIY foam ornaments. Wreaths, mini trees, snowmen, gingerbread men. Comes in sets of 24 I think. And its just sorta punch out the foam shapes and 'stick' them on as stickers. I see teachers coming in to buy them for their kids. Easy and it has all the parts.

Its in a clear plastic box with a green label. If you go in ask for Do it yourself foam ornaments and they should point you to the right direction. Since all the pieces are separate each one would be unique or the same if you want.

I was going to say painting....fingerprints can be turned into a string of Christmas lights.

Foot print all green, but toes red & write "mistletoes 2012"

Handprints in a circle (fingers outward) to creat a wreath.

Get plastic clear Christmas balls & use painted handprint around the ball & date 2012.
