Need a good and fun book
I don't always find the time to read, but when I do I need something I can't put down. Read Gone Girl in two days. Loved Hunger Games trilogy Hated 50 Shades trilogy Also read and loved... Kitchen House, Defending Jacob, and Hush.
Need another good and fast read. Maybe even something a little light with a good twist. I read all the Emily Giffin books pretty much.
Thanks! Wouls love to hear some great recommendations!
Btw... Anyone read A Wedding in Great Neck? Saw it on my moms kindle and thought it sounded interesting.

Re: Need a good and fun book
I just finished a few books- had a little extra time on my hands and they were good reads.
The Art Forger by BA Shapiro-about an artist who's been shunned by the art world, who then gets the opportunity to forge a painting stolen in a famous heist. It's part caper, some romance, some surprises. I liked it a lot.
I also just finished Mr. Churchill's Secretary by Susan Elia McNeal (and the follow-up, Princess Elizabeth's Spy). Historic mysteries set in 1940 England. Though there's nothing light about Hitler and WWII, it's not heavy-duty. The main character is a young mathematician who can only get work as a typist because she's a woman, but she gets involved in a plot to assassinate Churchill. It was pretty exciting- and there were some definite surprises. I liked the follow-up a lot as well.

Re: Need a good and fun book
I just finished Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick and really enjoyed it.
Some of my recently read favorites are:
Thoughtless & Effortless by S.C. Stephens
Divergent & Insurgent by Veronica Roth - if you liked The Hunger Games, I think you'll love these books!
Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire

Re: Need a good and fun book
I just read Gillian Flynn's other book, Dark Places. I have to say I liked it much better than Gone Girl.
Some other fun reads are One for the Money (The first in the Stephanie Plum series), Divergent (First in a trilogy), This is Where I Leave You by Johnathan Tropper. I also like books like Confessions of a Shopaholic, Bitter is the New Black, and fun memoirs like Chelsea Handler's books, Mindy Kaling's Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?, and the Bloggess's Let's Pretend This Never Happened.
