Need a good home inspection co recommendation in Nassau
So we have an accepted offer on a house . We had a great home inspector when we bought this house that I would use again, but I believe he retired...anyone have anyone good they would recommend in Nassau
Also if anyone is looking to rent a house in Oceanside let me know...fully updated 3 bedroom 2 bath, new roof, windows, oil tank, bathroom, floors, paint...

DH and I used Federated Consultant Services last week for our house (that we finalized contracts on yesterday  )
They were able to set up an appointment rather quickly and the girl I spoke to (Kristy) was very helpful and nice.

I used these guys based on a recommendation here. Solid company.
They are architects and engineers... not just "inspectors". I think you get more for your money.

WIN is excellent. I've used a guy by the name of Bob O'Gorman many times. He's educated, and very thorough. He'll let you follow him around and ask questions. He also does the termite inspection as well which your bank will require if you're getting a mortgage.

Have no reccos in LI, although the place I used I think has branches everywhere-- HouseMaster.
