need a HUGE beach bag!
I need a huge beach bag to tote mine and dd's stuff. I like the Vera Bradley bags but don't want to spend a fortune on something like this. Suggestions?!

I love my Land's End bag. I've had the one with the zipper for years and it's held up great.

It works great!
I love my Land's End bag. I've the one with the zipper for years and it's held up great.
I was also going to recommend this. It's awesome and holds a ton of stuff.

I scored BIG time when Fortunoff was going out of business. I bought 3 Vera Bradley bags, 1 BIG travel tote for like a weekend overnight bag, 1 BIG beach bag and one smaller, everyday bag, and paid $80 for all 3! Ah, I wish I would have gotten more, but you can't go wrong with Vera bags!

I've had the same Lands' End bag for the past 7 years! It still looks brand new! I use it all summer for the pool and beach.
The good thing about Lands' End is that anytime down the road, it rips or anything, they will replace it for free.

I use a LLBean monogrammed bag, same as Lands End. The KMart in Bridgehampton has Lands End bags monogrammed with different East end towns: Watermill, Southampton, etc....

thanks for the recs ladies..my concern though is that the lands end bags' handles aren't long enough to go over your shoulder and when holding a toddler's hand among all the other stuff, it'd be nice to have a free hand kwim? i actually found a bag on the LE website but it's still a little more than i wanted to spend. lemme show you and tell me what you think!

I know LL bean's bags you choose regular or longer straps. LL bean costs more though.

The bag I have is so old, it isn't even on the website anymore, but they definitely fits over my shoulder to carry that way! I usually have the bag, a beach chair, a bag of toys and a cooler over my shoulder, and a kid in each hand!

I have the extra large bag from LLBean. You can get it with long handles. Mine has the regular handles and it is big enough to go over my shoulder and permit me to hold my son's hand. LLBean Bag
I have the zip top version and I would highly recommend that feature!

Ok, if you're like me, you'll just use the reusable Ikea bags  I use them for EVERYTHING. Laundry, beach totes, to bring crap to work, you name it, I use it for that!

It is HUGE, it also folds flat and small to bring on vacation.
Its the Resort tote - brown bag with white dots.

If you go to waldbaums they sell similar bags for .99... super sturdy, with all different pictures!
