Re: Need a little RHof NJ fix?
If you're an avid fan of the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' you've seen the infamous table-flipping scene by now. Heck, even if you didn't watch the show, you couldn't miss it in the promos that ran nonstop during other Bravo TV programming. This much we know:
Danielle Staub showed up at Teresa's party toting the "Cop Without a Badge" book that the other ladies had been gossiping about and an argument ensued as to just who it was (Dina Mazo? Caroline Manzo? The EASTER BUNNY?) that circulated the book around their beloved salon, Chateau.
The ladies, as best they could in their booze and silicone -- or was it saline? -- induced haze, debated the matter. OK, they screamed about it like howler monkeys after huffing nail polish fumes for a couple of hours. Then the insults started to really fly and Teresa called Danielle a prostitution ***** and starting angrily using her ring-laden fingers to tick off other things Danielle was.
Finally, there was the glorious table flip, which you can relive over and over in the video below.
Here's what we don't know: What in the heck was Teresa saying just after the table flip, when she was being restrained Jerry Springer-style? Watch and listen:
And then its an audio of the stupid theresa
ETA: The comments from posters were funnier

Thanks Sash!
I can't wait to get home and check out the comments, I'm sure they're hilarious!
Has anyone been able to decipher what it was that Teresa said post table flipping?

Re: Need a little RHof NJ fix?
Real Housewives of New Jersey' finale: The real story behind Danielle Staub and Dina Manzo's feud by Vicki Hyman/The Star-Ledger Tuesday June 16, 2009, 6:25 PM DANIEL HEDDEN PHOTOGRAPHY/COURTESY OF SALON LUBADina Manzo chats with niece Lauren Manzo while they get their hair done at Salon Luba at the Shops at Riverside in Bergen County.
What exactly happened between "Real Housewives of New Jersey" co-stars Dina Manzo and Danielle Staub? Clearly there was some bad blood between the two even before the appearance of the infamous "Cop Without a Badge" and the resulting tsuris. But the clash is only alluded to on-camera when Manzo dead-pans in the season premiere: "We kind of had a misunderstanding. I maybe told her I was going to kick her ***."
Cornered in a makeup chair at Salon Luba in Hackensack on Monday, Manzo kindly decides to spil to us. Here's her story: Bravo didn't plan on paying the housewives, but sister Caroline Manzo and Chris Laurita, her brother and Jacqueline Laurita's husband, consulted with an entertainment lawyer, who managed to negotiate salaries -- "a few thousand dollars" -- for each of them.
Staub didn't want to pay a portion of the lawyer's fees, and was nasty about it, Manzo says. But what really made Manzo want to "kick her ***" was when Staub repeatedly called Laurita about the blow-up, even though Laurita was then recovering from the latest in a series of miscarriages.
But Staub claims she negotiated her contract on her own, so she didn't feel she needed to chip in. She also says that Laurita had been calling her, not the other way around, and that she hooked Laurita up with the doctor who helped her and Chris get pregnant and carry their new baby to term -- Nicholas was born last week -- "so yeah, that's about all I'm gonna say about that."

Re: Need a little RHof NJ fix?
When producers for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" descended on tony Franklin Lakes last year, they quickly honed in on local hair salon regulars Dina Manzo, a no-nonsense event planner, Jacqueline Laurita, her big-hearted sister-in-law, and their pal, the flaky, fun-loving Teresa Giudice.
To help fill out the cast, Manzo directed producers to her sister Caroline Manzo, who is married to Dina's husband's brother. Had it stayed in the family, "it would have been a hysterical show," Dina Manzo says. "It would have been very Jersey, but not as dark, not too catty."
And what would have been the fun in that?
Enter Danielle Staub, or as Dina Manzo knew her at the time, "the crazy lady from the salon." Laurita reports in her Bravotv.com blog that she met Staub "right before the taping of the show," which makes one wonder whether they met because of the taping of the show. "It's a bit murky to me," Caroline Manzo says.
The injection of Staub, a toned, sharp-tongued single mother, certainly upped the intrigue and likely boosted ratings for the Bravo franchise, which aired its table-turning finale Tuesday night. (The reunion show will air June 23.)
"Jer-sey!" Danielle Staub hoots at her younger daughter Jillian, whose straight blonde strands have been curled and teased and sprayed into the quintessential Garden State 'do. Which is to say, big. Staub and her two daughters spent Monday afternoon at Salon Luba at the Shops at Riverside, the upscale Bergen County mall, while her three of her fellow housewives and their daughters got primped and pampered that morning.
With the exception of Laurita, who gave birth last week, all four then headed into Manhattan, where they hit the red carpet for the premiere of the Jack Black-Michael Cera flick "Year One."
In between manicures, makeup applications and blow-outs, the ladies share their thoughts on the season and spill some off-camera drama.
Caroline Manzo arrives first with daughter Lauren, who's about to graduate from beauty school. The petite redhead is the most circumspect of the bunch, invoking Bravo's own motto "Watch what happens" when quizzed too closely. She's soon joined by Dina Manzo, who trades in her ponytail for big fluffy curls. Breezing in about an hour later is Giudice, dressed in jeans and a tight khaki tank top that hugs her five-months-pregnant belly. She shows off her latest jewelry purchases and sets up daughter Gia with a manicurist before settling down with a goblet of orange juice.
Giudice is the frankest of the bunch -- at one point, she calls Staub "a pathological liar" and "very calculating and conniving" -- but often backtracks with a variation on "I probably shouldn't have said that," then calls across the room to Caroline Manzo, "Can I say that?"
The women all claim to have few regrets about the show: "I made a promise to myself, my family and my husband that I wasn't going to pretend to be anything than what I was," Caroline Manzo says. "Lies tend to bite you in the ***."
Looking back on the season, Staub says that she and reputed arch-enemy Dina Manzo "were fed a fair amount of B.S. about each other. Speaking for myself, I might have ran with that a little too quickly."
Though no one retreats to that convenient reality show excuse "I had a bad edit," there were certainly some scenes that hit false notes to the ladies involved.
For the record, Giudice doesn't carry bankrolls tucked into the pockets of her skinny jeans; she only paid a small deposit for her $120,000 worth of furniture in the series premiere. For the record, Dina Manzo didn't want to park in that handicapped parking space; the producers told her to pull in and jump out because she was running late, and said they would immediately move the car. (And yet they included that clip ...) For the record, Staub may have had problems hammering out a financial settlement with her second ex-husband, the father of her two children, but she thinks "there's no finer man in the world."
The scene in which she argues with her ex-husband over the phone made her realize that some thing needed to be shielded from the camera crews. "You figure you'll talk to them after and tell them it's private It ain't private. It's up for grabs. You have to censor yourself." (This from a woman who suggested over dinner she and her date excuse themselves to the bathroom for an appetizer, if you will.)
Oh, for the record, Staub wasn't a cocaine-addicted stripper; she was "a go-go dancer" who preferred marijuana.
Yes, Staub has taken quite a beating this season, thanks to the completely-coincidental-we're-sure discovery of "Cop Without a Badge," an out-of-print true-crime tale about her first ex-husband Kevin Maher. Maher, a felon-turned-informant, hooked up with Staub (then known as Beverly Merrill) at a drug party in 1980s Miami. He makes many unsavory claims about Staub in the book, "coke *****" being the most succinct.
Staub says she changed her name to escape from the abusive Maher, and when the book came out in 1996, she was a young mother married to her second husband, and they decided it was best to ignore it. Now she's changing her tune. "My people are working on it," she says, insinuating that some legal action may be in the works. "I'm going to be donating a lot of proceeds to the battered women and children. Keep lying. Keep it up."
Real Housewives of New Jersey' insider scoop: The ladies hit the salon, reflect on the season Second season or no, Staub has big plans. She has signed with a book agent for a planned memoir, and wants to produce an exercise video. "If my past hadn't come out, this wouldn't have been possible. I don't think people could relate to me as well. They'd just think I'm off my rocker."
The season wrapped with Giudice's instantly-iconic table-tipping rage against Staub; it seems that a second season would require some mighty producer intervention to bring the housewives back together.
"I think it would be great to see how we work through that," Staub says; women should see it's possible to get beyond such pettiness.
And if it's not possible?
"Even if it's not," Staub says, "then we have -- hello! -- season three!"

Funniest comment posted about that video:
I believe she said "There is no way that Mir Hossein Mousavi did not win the election in Iran" and expressed her displeasure at the fraudulent voting.
Granted, I have a slow internet connection.

Oh come one. She wanted the book to come out and be a big deal so she would sell more copies of HER book.

Re: Need a little RHof NJ fix?
good article...i do believe for sure that Dina & Caroline were "tipped off" to the book by BRAVO
I mean how would they stubmble across an out of print book about someone with a different name?
I believe the handicap thing and the feeding each other BS too... But bravo to BRAVO b./c it got us all watching
but really no one cares for Danielle so why would she continue to be on the show? It would be so scripted then...(Not like the other shows weren't - but the other housewives at least were friendly with each other)

Re: Need a little RHof NJ fix?
Danielle's accent makes my skin crawl. I still don't get why she thinks anyone owes her anything.
Theresa is so nasal, and she doesn't seem very nice.
The gossip is good, though....
