Need a lunch buffet menu
I'm having DD's First Communion party at my house, and am trying to plan the food menu. The party will start at 12:00, planning to put out the food around 1:00. I'm trying to decide if I should do my usual buffet foods, like Ziti, S&P, meatballs, eggplant, etc., or if that will be too heavy for that time of day. Wondering if I should maybe be planning more of a "lunch" type of menu. What do you think? And if lunch, please suggest a menu.
Thanks!

Re: Need a lunch buffet menu
I think your regular buffet choices are fine for an afternoon party.
If you want to do a more 'lunch' type of menu, how about a hero with pasta salad/potato salad? You could still have 1 or 2 hot dishes with that if you wanted.

I think that's fine. If I go to a party with a heavier lunch I don't have to cook dinner!!
