Need a make-up makeover

I used body shop products for years. In my 20s I switched to Mac. Im now mid 30s. I don't like how the make-up looks on me anymore. It doesn't enhance. I have sensitive skin. I'm thinking of going to sephora but do they have someone who can Evaluate my skin tone and advise what makeup looks good for me and I need tips on application and such. I am terrible at matching makeup.

Any ideas?

Bobbi Brown is great IMO
I have gone to Roosevelt Field Bloomingdales and find them very helpful.
I love Sephora too, I am sure they can help you too

Yep I said on a previous thread Sephora started doing this cool new thing called Pantone Color IQ... They scan your face and A list of foundations come up that would best match your skin tone! They also give 2 samples of foundation for you to take home and try.

My skin has never looked better! It truly is life changing.

Re: Need a make-up makeover

Go to Sephora and make an appointment for a Color IQ session. They will take a camera and it will tell you your exact pantone skin shade. Then using their computer it will tell you your exact shade of foundation in every brand that they carry. From there you can test them out and see which on you prefer. It is life changing. Look for my post about it and how it made me feel. I cannot rave enough about the experience. Now people tell me I am radiant and glowing. It happens all the time and is such a huge 180 for me.

Need a make-up makeover

I get compliments on my 42 year old skin all the time . I use Clinique. The foundation I used was discontinued after 20 years so I use the perfectly real makeup and love it!!

This sounds awesome BUT does it require going to Sephora without makeup on? Do they make house calls?

Your skin looks awesome!! What did they recommend for you to use?

You take your make up off at the counter and then they redo it for you so you don't have to walk through the mall without makeup.

Ha ha yes no makeup. Oh please you can go out to the mall without make up. You're gorgeous. If I can with my Irish red face, you can too with your great skin!

I got a Clinque CC cream in 'light' and a Dior foundation also in a light tone.

Re: Need a make-up makeover

I recently started using revlon's Photoready BB cream. It is awesome and VERY cheap. Former MAC girl here in her mid-30's too.

Here's a link to the raves on it from other girls on this board...
